Chill Out Areas during festival

I read in several places that at Werchter there is not much more to do than going to the concerts.
This is basically no problem for me because thats why were are attending.

But are there areas on the festival ground to just chill, sit down and relax?
I am used to those places at other festivals ... because I cannot really stand for 10 hours the whole day long ^^

There are definitely places on the meadow where you can just chill. On North West Walls, there are a number of chill spots. When there isn't a gig on Main Stage, DJs do play there, which also sometimes get quite a crowd going.

On the other side of the meadow, you have the corner where The Slope is located and there are certainly opportunities to chill out there as well.

Besides, the stretch of meadow in front of Main Stage is huge and in the second half you can also just chill out, especially in the first half of the day. I've seen quite a few gigs that way.

There are also a lot of areas with benches and other sitting opportunities, mostly shady, the apero zones, some hammocks... It has a lot of space where there is "nothing" happening and where you can chill in relative quietness.
