Aiming for Enrike en Murder Maids voegen zich op de 11 augustus van Øyafestivalen (NO).
Al bekendgemaakt voor die dag:

Håkan Hellström, boygenius, Lars Vaular, Caroline Polachek, Valkyrien Allstars, Beharie, Snail Mail, SKAAR, Balming Tiger, Daufødt, slowshift, Eirik Aas, Malin Pettersen, Veps.

All Together Now in Ierland heeft honderd nieuwe namen toegevoegd. Dit is de line-up tot nu toe.

En daar is de beloofde line-up van Amplifest Porto (PT). Da's op zich weer meer dan prima. Betekent ook dat het me niet zou verbazen als Big Brave, Divide and Dissolve, Hexvessel en Esben and the Witch ook met losse shows gaan touren (en Nederland gaan aandoen), maar dat terzijde.

't Is wel al de volledige line-up. Wat dat betreft valt ie wel wat tegen met de afgelopen editie, maar absoluut nog steeds uit te houden!

We promised something extra on the 22nd and there you have it: CANDURA and the internationally renowned sculptor RUI CHAFES will open this year's Amplifest on Friday, September 22nd at the unique Serralves museum. This limited seated experience is a gift from us to you but you need to secure your ticket anyway.
Also, this year's film will be screened at the recently restored iconic Batalha Centro de Cinema. Even Hell has its Heroes, a documentary about the beautiful drone metal pioneers Earth, will debut in Porto on Sunday morning, September 24th. It's a free admission event as well and tickets will become available at Batalha's ticket booth one hour before the screening.
Last but not least, Lisboa based artist Zé Burnay will exhibit his magnificent illustrations at Hard Club's Mainfloor.

Podiumindeling van Boardmasters (VK) is bekend. Volgens was de line-up ook niet (of niet volledig) hier voorbijkomen, dus bij dezen.

Mortiis The Norwegian legend and Master of Industrial metal brings his Dark Dungeon synth to our Blot – Mortiiis will do a new live show of the 1994 Album “"Ånden Som Gjorde Opprør" - this will be Epic!

Nordjevel Get ready to experience the raw power and intensity of black metal legends Nordjevel at Midgardsblot 2023! This uncompromising band is known for their blistering riffs, thundering drums, and dark, atmospheric soundscapes that will transport you to the depths of the underworld.

Lili Refrain This rising pagan star and multi instrumentalist is the perfect fit to our Blot with her otherworldly sounds transporting us to somewhere unfamiliar yet meditative. Combining electric guitar, vocals, percussion, synths and loops, she crafts a sonic netherworld, to which we’re all invited – Join us!

Katarina Barruk sings in Ume Sámi. The language is on UNESCO's red list of critically endangered languages. For Katarina Barruk, doing music in Ume Sámi is a way of inviting us all into her universe, where Ume Sámi is a norm, and alive. She will do a session of Joik and Drums in our Hall that will be a truly unique experience and a passage to ancient cultures and sounds!

ISÁK will join our Blot with their Sami poptronic lead by the amazing vocalist Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen. Norway’s most exciting Pop band for the last six years are doing their farewell tour this summer so do not miss this last chance to experience ISÁK!

Vévaki Myth, ritual and a connection with the natural world enform VÉVAKI’s music, that draws from Nordic heathenism and animistic traditions. Vevaki’s traditional and contemporary instrumentation creates a multilayered folk sound that we love!

Eternity In Norway’s Black Metal underground there are brilliant musicians that keeps the legacy alive with an innovative darkness of sound – and Eternity is one of the best examples, prepare to get your mind blown when they hit our stage!

Øyafestivalen heeft nieuwe namen aangekondigd voor 'Biblioteket': Gjenfødt Kultur / Most Likely Marlin / nonne / Sanyu / Selvforakt. De laatste drie namen (volgens maar voor dit podium, maar dat staat er niet duidelijk) volgen 22 juni, inclusief de dagverdeling.

Wacken heeft Peyton Parrish en Skew Siskin aangekondigd en het tijdschema is bekend.
