Frigg's Døttre is a collective of four women who initially connected through their shared passion for performing authentic medieval music. However, they soon felt a desire to explore beyond those boundaries, delving into new instruments and artistic expressions. Drawing inspiration from Norse mythology, they chose the name Frigg's Daughters, as a homage to the goddess Frigg, who holds immense significance for all women. While the ancient tales focus on her sons, there are no known stories of her daughters. The band would like to change that.
Vargvrede has been around since 2019, and has since then released one full length and two singles. Prepare for some hard hitting and catchy riffs when these guys hit the stage!
