wait for the announcement today, otherwise, it’s not funny ? except of announcement on 01.04 with something big, so we can guess – is it true or false (as the day of fools).

Would be a hell of a joke if they announced some big names (System of a Down, Aerosmith, name your favorite headliner) on the first of april as an april's fools joke

. But I agree we need the final names and especially the stage schedule very very soon

Zal vanmiddag toch wel? Als een band zichzelf aankondigt, zit t eraan te komen lijkt me. Daarnaast ben ik ook wel benieuwd naar podia. Zondagticket hebben we binnen al een tijd, maar voor de zaterdag is t afwachten op overlap etc. Slash is daar de enige grote naam voor ons en voor de rest vooral kleintjes. Als alles overlapt is t t niet meer waard. Met in ieder geval mainstages van bands weet je ten minste zeker dat dat niet overlapt met elkaar

Five Finger Death Punch werd al eens genoemd als gerucht. Die komen binnenkort met de data voor de zomer van 2019. Ik verwacht ze tijdens de aankondiging wel erbij.

Ben inderdaad benieuwd of ze er bij zijn. Treden in de USA op met godsmack, in flames en bad wolves. Laat die er nu net ook alle drie zijn?. Mijn hoop is groot.

they don't. Every day they put it up on the big screens at the mainstages and the screens of the signing booth. Also, not all the sessions will actually take place.
Last year they said Hollywood Vampires would sign the next day, but on that day it was taken out of the picture. Too bad.

Heel fijn voor je dat je FFDP verwacht maar...
A. Nooit een realistisch gerucht is geweest.
B. Alle grote namen al lang hun Europese zomerfestivaldata rond hebben. Hun Zomertour is in UK en USA vanaf Juli.
C. Het een waardeloze band is, die je liever niet op een affiche moet willen.
D. Merendeel niet komen opdagen in de Benelux, als ze überhaupt geboekt worden.

A: waar is het op gebaseerd dat het geen realistisch gerucht is?
B: vooralsnog is alleen het Amerikaanse gedeelte bekend gemaakt. Plus een optreden in Canada. Dit komt mede doordat er een nieuwe drummer bij komt omdat Jeremy Spencer stopt.
C: smaken verschillen, persoonlijk kan ik er goed naar luisteren.
D: heb ze toch al een behoorlijk aantal keren gezien in Benelux. Alleen Tilburg twee jaar terug dat ze ermee stopte. Voor de rest kan ik me niet zoveel herinneren.

Ik zou ze er graag bij zien.

Lijkt me wel grappig als ze over 15 minuten namen aankondigen, denk het niet hoor, maar zou het dan een grap zijn?

Misschien ook wel een mooie timetable met de headliners als eerste op de dag. Vorig jaar had Graspop geen 1 april grap uitgehaald toch?

Moest Disturbed nog niet aangekondigd zijn, zou ik daar mijn geld vol op inzetten.
Hun 'sound of silence' hint lijkt wel heel duidelijk!

Maar dus... we wachten verder...

Ik wordt wel steeds benieuwder voor welke band ze zo lang wachten met de aankondiging... Zouden ze nog een grotere verassing in petto hebben maar zijn ze nog bezig met besprekingen? Of zou er een andere reden zijn waarom ze de laatste bandnamen niet bekend kunnen maken?
Misschien wilden ze de podium indeling wel tegelijk bekend maken maar komen ze daar nog niet uit met de artiesten?

Ik denk iig dat het beter voor de kaartverkoop zou zijn als ze toch die laatste namen bekend maken (tenzij het natuurlijk matige namen zijn, maar Bad Wolves trekt denk ik al wel mensen dus dat verwacht ik niet).

Laten we dan toch maar weer hopen op vandaag (of morgen?)

I am getting more and more curious for which band they are waiting so long with the announcement ... Would they have a bigger surprise in store but are they still busy with discussions? Or would there be another reason why they can't announce the latest band names? 
Maybe they wanted to make the stage layout known at the same time, but are they still unable to do so with the artists?

I think it would be better for ticket sales if they do announce the last names (unless of course they are moderate names, but I think Bad Wolves attracts people so I don't expect that).

So let's hope again today (or tomorrow?)

That would really be something! As a tip, I believe Rock Werchter is not sold out yet, so you might want to try that, but I agree it would be amazing if they have Tool, even though I do have tickets for the show in the Netherlands

That would really be something! As a tip, I believe Rock Werchter is not sold out yet, so you might want to try that, but I agree it would be amazing if they have Tool, even though I do have tickets for the show in the Netherlands

Saturday of rock werchter (with headliners tool and the cure) is sold out, but combi tickets are still available.
But it's very unlikely (read impossible) hat tool will come to graspop.

Het lijkt er inderdaad op dat ze (ook gezien het antwoord dat ze een tijdje terug gaven) hun volledige programma qua podia en timetable aan het maken zijn voor ze nog namen releasen. Of die timetable dan meteen wordt vrijgegeven zal afhangen van de datum lijkt me.

Jammer dat we weinig inzicht hebben op verkoopcijfers. Zou interessant zijn om te kunnen zien hoe de voorverkoop van dagtickets en combi's loopt, zowel van graspop als Werchter.

Ja, dat bedoel ik natuurlijk. Zie tool gerust wel eens op graspop staan, maar dit jaar sowieso niet.

Mja, is altijd het probleem met festivals. Die zeggen nogal snel dat verkoop goed loopt en dat je snel moet zijn, maar is vaak niet meer dan een verkoopstactiek.
