De eerste headliners zijn bekend gemaakt en er gaan er nog verschillende volgen in de komende weken tot start kaartverkoop op 21 november. Het zou mooi zijn als dat ook een keer een totale verrassing gaat zijn, want the Cure en 21 Pilots zagen we al van mijlenver aankomen. Met de bekendmakingen op andere festivals noteren we een aantal stijgers en enkele afvallers. En we claimen alvast Lorde (sorry Pukkelpop). Verder relatief weinig nieuwe namen in de lijst met kanshebbers.

4/5 vrij 'oude' acts. Vorige editie waren onder meer Maribou State en Rüfüs Du Sol ook Barnheads naast oldies als Underworld en Iggy Pop. Denk dat er wel weer een dance-act naar voren zal geschoven worden door de organisatie om gepusht te worden naar een breder publiek.
Teddy Swims? Of kan die niet meer?
EDIT: Altijd gedacht dat hij ook dance-muziek maakte, maar not haha. Zal hem verwisseld hebben met Barry Can't Swim dan wellicht, funny
Gorillaz op een rock en metal festival is even tegendraads als, ik zeg maar wat, Gorillaz op een KBC-personeelsfeest.
Doordat er waarschijnlijk geen hele harde namen bovenaan het affiche staan zie ik een aantal van de volgende bands ook wel komen: Alter Bridge, Electric Callboy, Three Day Grace, Megadeth. Zullen waarschijnlijk 3 wel van naar Graspop gaan maar ik gok zeker Electric Callboy op Werchter.
Vind alleen Solar Power of hie heet het echt heel zwak. Die laatste wel goed, kijk uit om die nummers live te horen.
Al bij al wel gewoon een heel sterke setlist inmiddels, over de 4 albums heen.
En, zoals ik zeg maar het algoritme pakt precies niet, is hierover niets bekend en is het louter speculatie.
Laat Raye in 27 door de grote poort komen na haar Sportpaleis en een PKP passage, Chappel en Sabrina zullen headliner van RW zijn als ze touren, Dean is een trapje te klein, Olivia en Dua gaan volgens mij niet op pad en als ze komen moet je naar stadions kijken.
Donderdag of zaterdag op RW? Of toch Pukkelpop. Lijkt me nochtans een shoe-in.
Zaterdag samen met 21P toch ideaal lijkt me. Echt zo'n dag die easy gaat uitverkopen met jonge gezinnen.
Ik probeer alleszins mijn 3 kinderen toch thuis te laten een heel weekend
We waren het er toch al over eens dat Pukkelpop eigenlijk logischer was?
Ja, oké.. Maar toen bleek nog niet dat Tyler in de buurt zou zijn bv. En Florence in hetzelfde weekend als RW in Italië, wanneer ze iédere tournee er al heeft gestaan?
Italië - België op 2 dagen kan wel hoor, maar er zijn logischere routes. En de meest logische dag, de zondag, lijkt me het minst logisch qua namen (zo voor The Cure). Het kan zeker nog, al voelt Pukkelpop (ze tourt ook in augustus, Pukkelpop zal haar graag nog eens die show laten inhalen) nét een tikkeltje logischer. We zien wel zeker?
