Allereerst de vorige lijst uit 2023.
Ik heb eens even zitten broeden.
Zoals jullie misschien nog wel weten (of hierboven kunnen zien), zoek ik het graag een beetje buiten de gewaande paden van de metal/rock (onder Roadburns motto 'Redefining Heaviness'). Aangezien ik het prikkelen van de geest hoog in het vaandel heb staan en daarbij dus ook het verruimen van de muziekkennis van de mens, heb ik dit jaar besloten om een gehele nieuwe lijst neer te zetten met artiesten die niet in mijn vorige lijst stonden, maar die er net zo goed wel in hadden kunnen staan (als ze tenminste al een nummer hadden uitgebracht). Dat doet uiteraard niks af aan de artiesten van die vorige lijst, want die staan nog vaak genoeg op.
Deze keer wel gewoon een top honderd en geen top 135.
