Another 20 bands come crashing into Download 2017
Not content with our already stellar line up, we’re adding another 20 names into the mix. From legends to brand new talent, the spiritual home of rock is about to get LOUD. \m/
Metal behemoth, Devin Townsend Project will be making their return to Download, featuring the living legend and ex Strapping Young Lad frontman, Devin Townsend himself. Joining them are one of the hottest names in hardcore, Code Orange, who’ll bring a crushing set.
Twenty years on from the release of the ground-breaking album, ‘Roots’, Max & Iggor Cavalera reunite to perform a seminal record in its entirety to the Download crowd.
Ready for more metal? Groove masters SikTh will bring the Main Stage mosh pit to life this year, while the deathcore stalwarts Suicide Silence are back with tracks from their fifth album.

Joining them are the unmissable supergroup, Krokodil, who are guaranteed to impress with their forceful metal. Bringing steel toed riffs and fistfuls of attitude to Donington are the UK stoner rock legends, Orange Goblin.
After receiving waves of critical and commercial success with his sophomore album, ‘General Admission’, Machine Gun Kelly brings his wild live shows to Download this June. Sick Puppies will serve up their incredible tooth-rattling rock, while the San Antonio rockers Nothing More ferociously tear up the Zippo Encore stage on Saturday.
Returning to Download with their epic melodies and brute force are the metalcore outfit, The Raven Age. They’ll be joined by tour de force of energy, Yonaka and country rock n’ rollers Blackwater Conspiracy.
Joining our previously announced headliners on the Dogtooth Stage, Exodus and Wednesday 13 comes the dark and volatile Perturbator. Prepare to be lost in his technoir, dark synth wave as they close the Dogtooth Stage on Sunday night.
Riffing their way to Download 2017 with infections songs and raucous energy are the Dublin grunge rockers, OTHERKIN. Whilst London five-piece, Drones will deliver a barrage of hardcore punk.
There’s more. After supporting the likes of Black Stone Cherry and Halestorm, The Fallen State bring their soulful vocals to Download. Love Zombies will combine their mix of punk and new wave while Blackwaters whip up some chaotic indie punk. If you’re after some gritty modern blues, we’ve got that too in the shape of Bristol natives, Tax The Heat, plus some soulful rock n’ roll from Nashville’s Tyler Bryan & The Shakedown.
All these names join our previously announced headliners System of a Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith.
