Well. If the trend of the past years is followed, we will finally have the line-up within two weeks! I will also take a week off to make a playlist..
I have already laid an egg on how I want to deal with the division of my days. The logic explained:
- Every day just a few must sees. For this I only choose artists that you rarely or never encounter at festivals in the Benelux (or where it will be extra atmospheric to see them on English soil). I am thinking of: Rod Stewart, Pulp, Alanis Morrissete, Neil Young, Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Massive Attack and Basement Jaxx.
- I then fill the schedule with classics that I know the whole group can sing along to, which is nice for the atmosphere. I think of Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, Biffy Clyro or Kaiser Chiefs.
- Leave enough room in the schedule for eating, drinking and especially experiencing all the other crazy things at GLasto.
- If there is still room left I will look at other acts. Because I still have a few that I hope to catch, such as Beth Gibbons or Bright Eyes. But these are acts that you can also catch in the Benelux, so for me it doesn't necessarily have to be there.
