Met name de opmerking over evenwicht onderschrijf ik volledig. RW zorgde er altijd goed voor dat elke muziekliefhebber elke dag een vol programma kan krijgen. De popliefhebbers hebben op donderdag een zware dag en de rockliefhebbers op de zaterdag en zondag. Maar het gaat me niet alleen op pop versus rock maar ik mis ook de 'alternatieve pop/indie acts'. Boekingen zoals Archive, Steven Wilson, David Byrne of Deus. Het hoeft niet allemaal rock zijn maar het mag me wel meer uitdagen dan de meeste bands die er nu staan.

En ik ben bang dat je gelijk hebt dat dit de nieuwe koers van festivals wordt. En ergens ook begrijpelijk omdat de populaire muziek die kant op gaat en festivals publiek moeten blijven trekken.

Mooi hoe het kan verschillen. Voor mij draait die act alweer jaren mee. Best Kept Secret en Pukkelpop reeds platgespeeld. Een waanzinnige live-act die wat mij betreft ook perfect in KlubC had kunnen staan. Wordt een bommetje op The Slope hoor.

I just think it's all very tame, nice for a sunset on the beach with a cocktail in your hand. That's the vibe I get from it.


There is a chance that I will go and see Rufus du Sol indeed, I have already listened to some of it and I think I could enjoy it. But hey, that doesn't change the fact that a day with only Wunderhorse and RdS (for lack of anything better) doesn't really appeal to the imagination.

"Sleep-inducing" is great! I call it "Coffee queue promoter".

Zondag zie ik niet echt goedkomen. Dat zal een heel gezapig dagje worden!
