Werchter ligt wat dat betreft het beste in het festival seizoen, daarnaast zal het budget van Werchter ook wel groter zijn.
Misschien had Pinkpop in het verleden dan beter iets dichter naar RW toe moeten kruipen in de planning. De keuze om los te koppelen van Pinksteren is in het verleden ook gemaakt immers.
Nu kan het uiteraard niet meer vanwege DTRH.
Jawel toch? Het werk dit kalenderjaar hier op dit forum ook wel duidelijker dat de headliners dit jaar matig beschikbaar zijn. Ook Werchter heeft niet de sterkste opstelling dit jaar bijvoorbeeld. Best Kept Secret heeft ook een B-lineup vergeleken met andere jaren. Ik ga er maar van uit dat dit een eenmalige misser is links en rechts.....
Wie weet heeft Pinkpop volgend jaar Pearl Jam, Eminem en Dua Lipa. Dan hoor je "niemand" klagen
En hebben ze 'mindere' headliners, dan zullen ze de 2e en 3e in linie sterker moeten boeken. Waar ik bij pinkpop misschien wel banger voor ben dan voor de absolute headliners is de hoeveelheid makkelijke veelal NL-se opvulling. Oke Acda en de Munnik daar gelaten gezien daar echt wel animo voor zal zijn.
Wat je zegt over Lenny kan ik me wel in vinden ja.. Ik zit daar bij Werchter ook niet echt op te wachten.
Headliners zullen zich wel aandienen. Die zijn er meer dan alleen degenen die nu dit jaar touren.
Ik vind Dua Lipa - FF - Maneskin ijzersterk eigenlijk. Alleen Kravitz persoonlijk niet zo.
Maneskin had ik liever niet als dagdrager gezien, maar ik laat me graag positief verrassen. Ik had een zwaardere sub verwacht daarnaast.
Ik bedoel bij Werchter meer de zwakkere Sub's dit jaar. Die zijn er vrijwel tussenuit geknipt als je het mij vraagt. De headliners staan, en dan is het veelal kleinere namen die mijn aandacht trekken. Werchter was altijd koning in het grote namen stapelen. Dat mis ik daar.
Blur-Kings of Leon op een dag. Kings of Leon-arcade fire. The War on drugs-Pearl Jam. Red Hot Chili Pppers-TheKillers. Arctic Monkeys-Nick Cave.
Linkin Park-System of a Down. Nick Cave-Volbeat-Rammstein. Depeche Mode-Editors op 1 dag.
Zoiets zien we dit jaar niet.
Gevoelsmatig ben ik het hiermee eens. Maar ik vraag mezelf ook af waarom ik dat vind. Is het omdat Lenny enkele jaren terug gewoon nog slechts de 4e laatste naam was met Die Antwoord (Op Noord) en The Cure en Armin er nog achteraan? Want in mijn hoofd was het eerder andersom; knap dat Pinkpop een naam van headliner niveau enkele plekken daaronder kan boeken...

1. Is there a shuttle from Heerlen Train Station to Pinkpop/Landgraaf train station?
2. What's the frequency of the shuttles and what's the price?
3. How is the traffic from Roermond and also from Maastricht to the festival? (On the weekend, not on Thursday)? Because altough Roermond is more far the trvael time accroding to Google Maps is almost the same?
4. From your experience, how easy is to find taxi in the taxi area? How long is the queue after each night?
5, Should we buy train tickets in advance?

1. The train makes a stop in Heerlen, but the train wil normally continu to Landgraaf (Or there will be a other train to Landgraaf.)
There are shuttle busses from Landgraaf train station to the festival site, but of it's possible to walk i advice to walk.
2. The (Pinkpop) shuttle busses from Landgraaf train station to the festival site are free to use.
3. Traffic from Roermond to Landgraaf could be traffic jammed roades? Maybe others know that answer best?
4. ? there are taxi's, don't know if there easy

Not sure what Kasabian meant by "in advance". You need to buy them in advance in the sense that you can't buy tickets in the train itself. But you don't have to buy them way in advance as is common in some countries like England. Trains can't sell out and the prices are always the same. So you can just buy tickets on the day itself, as long as you have them as you enter the station (you will need them to open the gates)
