Pretty happy: This lineup, along with Graspop, Dream Theater (Lux), Mark Knopfler (Lux) and Metallica (ArenA) will make my long trip from India worth it. After attending several concerts in India and all 10 editions of our biggest music festival (which I worked for, for a while), this promises to be an entirely different experience, altogether.
Some absolute bucket-list names on this poster, which I definitely wouldn't have had the chance to see otherwise (You guys in Western Europe are pretty lucky to have all the top bands touring so often, absolutely jealous when I look at just one month's Ticketmaster schedule!), and I feel it's a pretty good balance of legends & newcomers, guitar and non-guitar, known names and to-be-discovered. I didn't understand a word that was being said during the press conference (apart from the lyrics in English, of course
).
I guess it's time for me to stop stalking these forums every day (every few hours, rather!) now that everything is known - thank you Festileaks for the superb coverage, entertainment and hype over the last few months
I hope to bump into some of you at Pinkpop or a (cough cough) Kensington concert.
