Geleidelijk worden de verwachtingen op het forum concreter, nu meer tourplannen voor volgend jaar bekend worden en tourgeruchten sterker. Daardoor zijn in het overzicht verschillende namen naar 'Zeer waarschijnlijk' en 'Goede mogelijkheid' gepromoveerd. En er zijn ook een paar bands die we definitief kunnen afschrijven. Alle wijzigingen in vet (waaronder weer een flink aantal nieuwe kanshebbers).

Als Sting komt dan is het mi tussen 1 en 15 juli dus suikerrock of lokerse feesten vallen weg. Dit jaar was vrijdag met Sting de beste dag van het Beach Festival. Als ik de poster zie en de twee Britse festivals dan gaat het toch meer richting de betere pop of rock à la Police dan een jazzy solo optreden.
Gent Jazz zou evt kunnen qua tijd en dit drie jaar na zijn uitverkochte optreden in 2022.
Werchter Classic is mi een heel sterke kanshebber nadat hij op dit festival al optrad in 2006 en 2012. Sting heeft al meer op Werchter gestaan (1988,1991) dan op enige andere locatie. Cactusfestival is enkel mogelijk mits ze hun ticketprijs op zondag hoger maken dan de andere dagen zoals ze dit jaar deden voor War on Drugs. Rock Zottegem zie ik hem nooit van zijn leven doen.

Mijn favoriete post is terug :)

met de "Zeer waarschijnlijk" en de "Goede Mogelijkheid" zit er al voldoende moois in voor een nieuw 4-daags ticket voor mij.

Waarom staat Stereophonics bij "Kans Nihil"? die staan op 21/06 op Isle of Wight, dus toch een goeie kans voor RW?

Waarom als ik vragen mag? Hier staan ook acts uit hetzelfde genre zoals Toto John Fogerty Simple Minds ed. Sting zou hier dus prima passen mijns inziens....
 
Dat ie maar komt naar Rock Zottegem, hem lekker meepikken na een wandelingetje van 10min naar het festivalterrein vanuit mij thuis :love::ROFLMAO:

Helaas kan ik dit niet ontkennen, stoor me er zelf ook aan. Maar het ligt zo dicht bij mijn huis dat ik het (meestal) meepik en toch al sterke optredens gezien van Triggerfinger, Joost en Tourist Lemc in 2022 & Willie Wartaal en Wolfmother (geloof het of niet...) in 2023 (y)

Ah oke, ben er paar keer geweest al is de laatste keer al zeker 10 jaar geleden. Vond het toen wel een leuk festival...

Doen nooit heel lange legs in hetzelfde continent. Meestal is het +/- 3 weken en vervolgens door naar een ander continent. Als ze na de gekende tourdata nog tot RW in Europa zouden blijven zou het plots over een leg van 7 weken gaan. Onmogelijk is het niet, maar toch net te atypisch om er al een zekerheid van te maken.
