Als we met zn alleen eens niet op die provocerende opmerkingen in zouden gaan zou het hier een stuk gezelliger worden zeg…
Ja, er mag wel gedanst worden he volgend jaar. Wat een verschil met de vorige editie ook.
Goldband in 2022, op de plaats van main opener was eigenlijk echt tof. Daarna ging het snel bergaf. Dat optreden toen had net dat 'ietsje' (wat je niet kan benoemen) dat het hem deed.
Vind alle elektronische namen die er staan eigenlijk wel tof. Uitschieters Rufus Du Sol, Overmono en Nia Archives voor mij.

Het was eigenlijk best wel leuk, vooral toen het nog nieuw en net uit was. Het werd overal opeens een heel groot feest op een vroeg moment op de dag, iets wat niet per sé werd verwacht. Maar toen hebben ze daarna echt op iedere braderie die er bestaat gestaan. De exclusiviteit eraf en muzikaal is t natuurlijk niet hoogstaand. Het feest was leuk, maar het concept z'n beste tijd nu wel gehad ofzo?
Ik denk overigens dat die shows in ziggo/sportpaleis nog steeds enorme feesten zullen zijn. Als je er bent om los te gaan, met gelijkgestemden, zal het allicht gewoon hartstikke leuk zijn.
Zijn we klaar met aankondigingen dit jaar? Waarschijnlijk wel (maar een verlaat cadeautje à la Rosalia kan altijd uit de lucht komen vallen), dus we kunnen weer de balans opmaken. De drop van vandaag kende 8 namen die geen verrassing waren. Goldband en Underworld lagen wat minder voor de hand en Blanco White kwam pas deze week bovendrijven na de bekendmaking van BKS. Amenra is niet genoemd en was eigenlijk al vergeven aan Graspop (hoewel Belgische namen nog wel eens willen dubbelen). Tenslotte werd Jacob Collier door niemand als kanshebber gezien.
De ‘Elbow-leak’ doet vermoeden dat Franz Ferdinand, Nia Archives en Weezer ook naar RW komen, voorlopig zijn ze in ieder geval zeer waarschijnlijk.
