Ik kan hier dus alleen Wunderhorse en Weezer uitvinken. Behoorlijke teleurstelling dus. Er zitten wel wat leuke dingen bij zoals Mother Mother , maar niet echt iet waar ik zat op te wachten.
Royel Otis : Zitten in Spanje en Frankrijk op 3 en 6 juli.
Circa Waves : Staan op Mad Cool op 10 juli en ervoor nog een gat.
Kaiser Chiefs : Bestaan 20 jaar en spelen voornamelijk in de UK maar tijdens Werchter gaapt er nog een gat.
London Grammar : Zitten op 1 juli in Duitsland , daarna een groot gat.
Biffy Clyro : Spelen op Pinkpop , daarna een groot gat tot 12juli waar ze in de UK spelen.
Franz Ferdinand : kunnen we toch een zekerheidje noemen voor zaterdag.
Haunted Youth : Had ik in deze drop verwacht.
Doechii : Speelt op 5 juli op Roskilde , daarna een gat.
Vampire Weekend : Hebben een nieuw album uit en nog geen gegevens voor Juli.
The Sherlocks : Spelen nog in de Trix , maar in Juli enkel te vinden in de UK , maar tijdens RW nog een gat.
Bob Vylan : Ook nog vrij tijdens RW...

Trent reznor heeft zitten wenen op physical van Dua lipa, dus die zou groot van zijn van de zondag.
Er is het nodige gebeurd de afgelopen dagen (en dat is een understatement). Bekendmakingen van Graspop en Pukkelpop sloegen de nodige gaten in onze verwachtingen. De drop met 20 namen van gisteren was dan weer voor 75% geen verrassing voor dit forum. Met de kanttekening dat velen liever een iets andere invulling hadden gezien.
Vijf namen kwamen als een verrassing, waarvan de nationale helden GLINTSAL en Jokke helemaal uit de lucht kwamen vallen.

Vooral hoe Jacob zich gooit op het nummer July, de man ademt muziek.
Gewoon even stoom afblazen na de karige worp van gisteren i guess. Er zitten zeker krenten in de pap. Een While she sleeps, Wunderhorse, Nia Archives, Weezer..dat is de betere dagvulling.
Ook gevestigde waarden als Arsenal, Warhaus, Sylvie en de dansbare fun van Glintsal en Bolis...die namen werken.
Maar dan heb je tegelijk ook namen voor die zondag als David Kushner en Dasha, die op die zondag echt niet voor extra evenwicht gaan zorgen en een Dikke die hopelijk heel wat aan zijn live act heeft gewerkt (Want die stelde in 2023 nauwelijks wat voor.)
Het mag dus niet alleen spectaculairder worden voor de volgende worp, het moet zelfs. Ik ben vaak de eerste om te zeggen dat het niet noodzakelijk altijd om gitaren hoeft te gaan, maar als je de affiche op dit moment even in een oogopslag bekijkt...ja, die kan dus wat gitaren gebruiken he.
Jack White, Franz, Biffy, FoB, Bloc Party, Paramore....laat dat soort namen die goed vallen bij een ouder publiek nu maar komen zou ik zeggen. Aangevuld met een sterke slope kan het dan plots een stuk evenwichtiger worden.
De la soul barn headliner weet k niet hoor, stonden een paar jaar geleden nog op de Beleuvenissen. Matig optreden toen trouwensOk, tijdverdrijf.
Er lijkt me best een grote kans dat De La Soul, Underworld en Rüfüs De La Soul de Barnheadliners zijn, toch? (Ik laat voor het gemak de zaterdag maar even buiten beschouwing).
Waarom staat Underworld dan als 5e op hun dagline-up, en niet als 4e, net als De La Soul en Rüfus op hun dag?
Of wordt de Barn op donderdag toch door Iggy afgesloten (5e)? En komt er op zondag nog een main naam bij (of sluit Dean Lewis de Barn af)?
Of... we moeten nu nog niet teveel waarde aan de volgorde hechten. Aangezien hij binnenkort getweaked wordt na de zaterdag drop...

Warhaus: Vorige keer erg sterk, maar heb toch een gevoel van weeral. Geef ook wat andere Belgen de kans om op RW te staan.

Donderdag is voor mij al sterk genoeg: vrijdag mag er nog wat bij; zaterdag moet er voor iedereen nog wat bij, zwakste dag in breedte en qua headliner; zondag mag er eindelijk wat tegengewicht komen naast Wunderhorse.
