Maneskin deed het dik prima als headliner vorige zomer.
En nu het toch over laaghangend fruit gaat, begint dat Oscar and the Wolf bashen hier ook een beetje obsceen te worden.

Is voor mij ook verpest door alle gillende keukenmeiden om mij heen, elke beweging die de zanger maakte kreeg ik spontaan tinitus, had dit verwacht bij Dua Lipa maar daar viel het tenminste achterin heel erg mee.
Stond bij mij onderaan omdat ik de rest gewoon oprecht beter vond, maar daarom was Maneskin niet slecht. Denk dat er dat weekend wel alle dagen serieuze ego's op de main hebben gestaan. Moet je uiteindelijk toch wel hebben om even voor 80K mensen op een podium te gaan staan denk ik dan. Niets mis met beetje zelfzeker zijn.
Ja, precies. Waar de ene grote ego's ziet, zag ik toch vooral bakken branie en charisma op dat podium.
En zet ze gerust onderaan jullie lijstjes hoor, geen enkel probleem mee. Die show kakte tegen het einde echt wel wat in en dat moment met de fans op het podium was cringe, maar ik vond dat ze toch konden overtuigen als (kleinere) headliner.
Heb het begin gemist omdat ik nog uit de Barn kwam afgezakt maar vond het ook allemaal prima tot het moment dat ze duidelijk begonnen tijd te rekken, ik denk als ze nog een extra plaat maken dat dit wel goed komt. Qua liedjes kende ik er niet zoveel van maar was eigenlijk wel onder de indruk van hun live sound , die was voor mij toch wel veel beter dan bv. Foo Fighters.
Moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik er bij Rock en Seine ook onder de indruk van was. De eerste 3 kwartier vond ik ze sterker dan enig moment in de 2,5 uur die ik ooit van de Foo Fighters heb gezien. Maar daarna werd het zo onthutsend zwak dat alle opgebouwde credits de rivier in werden gegooid. Nog steeds oprecht onder de indruk hoe snel dat draaide.
Mag ik vragen of je een doodswens hebt dat je dit durft te zeggen?
Graspop heeft vandaag ook de website leeg gemaakt. Het zou morgen in Dessel wel eens prijs kunnen zijn.
Verwacht ook pas volgende week een pakketje namen voor Werchter.
Amyl en Fontaines de donderdag op de Main, voor Linkin Park gans de boel afbreekt. Man, soms komen dromen echt uit 
Nu niet meer maar ik had er wel een aantal tijdens de Foo Fighters toen ik Dave Grohl een aantal klassiekers (bv. This Is A Call) hoorde om zeep helpen met zijn geschreeuw.
Mag ik vragen of je een doodswens hebt dat je dit durft te zeggen?
De 4 headliners zijn bekend (daarbij geen verrassingen), de eerste mijlpaal is bereikt. Dat betekent dat we alle potentiële headliners overboord kunnen gooien (of op z'n hoogst een plekje als sub-/co-headliner of Barnhead toevertrouwen).
Tijd om ons op het forum te focussen op de namen die we verder verwachten op Mainstage, in de Barn of in Klub C. Waarschijnlijk wordt er de eerstkomende tijd nog niet heel veel bekend van wat er op the Slope gaat spelen. Vóór de start van de voorverkoop op 22 november zal er vrijwel zeker een pakketje met aansprekende namen volgen,

Werchter heeft een enorme slag geslagen door als enigste festival in Frankrijk, Belgie, Nederland en Duitsland Linkin Park deze zomer te boeken. Volgens mij gaat de combinatie van Linkin Park en Fontaines DC ervoor zorgen dat alle dagtickets voor de donderdag als zoete broodjes wegvliegen door veel vraag uit onze buurlanden. En als Werchter zo slim is om mijn suggestie om ook tweedaagse tickets aan voordeel tarief te verkopen dan gaan er velen kiezen voor combinatie donderdag en vrijdag. Zaterdag en zondag worden wel rechtgehouden door zowel de headliner als gunstige dagen voor een festival.
Qua prijzen zal Rock Werchter zich ook richten op de buurlanden: de BTW in Nederland op festivals wordt normaal verhoogd tot rond 20 procent dus er komt meer dan tien procent hierdoor bij de ticketprijs bij. Een dagticket Rock WERCHTER vermoed ik zal tussen 150 en 160 Euro kosten, een combi 420 Euro en een tweedaagse ticket 240 Euro (dit laatste als ze die zouden creeren).
PS Ken de prijzen in Dusseldorf niet maar als je de keuze krijgt tussen 150 tot 200 Euro in Dusseldorf voor Linkin Park of een ganse festivaldag met twee topgroepen Linkin Park en Fontaines DC voor iets meer dan 150 Euro weten de meesten wel wat kiezen.
