3 november in ieder geval nieuws van Download, tegen die tijd zullen we ook weten of Ghost gaat touren. Dat is wel één van de verwachte headliners daar. Als die niet op Download staan kan je ze voor graspop ook wel afschrijven.

En naar wat de organisatie over de look and feel vertelde. Al is dat nog wachten tot juni

In 2018, the stages weren’t called North and South but Mainstage 1 and 2, with the stage on the lefthand side being MS1.
Back then, Ozzy, GNR, Volbeat and Iron Maiden all played on the MS1. Marilyn Manson played on MS2 (on the right).

This unwritten rule of the South Stage always hosting the big headliner didn’t exist until 2022 or something, when they reworked the festival area.

While Manson‘s set took place on the stage on the right, which (geographically speaking) would be the South Stage nowadays, the slot was more akin to today’s North Stage, given that ALL of the four official headliners (the bands listed above were announced as such) played on the stage on the left.

Therefore, I don’t think it makes sense to proclaim Manson a former South Stage headliner, insinuating that he was the main headliner of that day.

Maybe something got lost in translation or I misunderstood your reply. If so, I apologise.

It was the same back then.
Main 2 was just a filler for the main 1.
The situation now is:
Mainstage 1 = Southstage
Mainstage 2 = Northstage

Yeah, I know.
That's why I argued that MM wasn't a South Stage headliner back then, which was the initial statement, from what I understood (I didn't consider 2007).

Waarvan Volbeat, Twisted Sister, BMTH, Within Temptation, Sabaton, Marilyn Manson en Def Leppard ook daadwerkelijk de South hebben afgesloten.

Fuck yes! Na de huidige editie maar meteen een kaartje gekocht op goed geluk. En goed geluk heb ik zeker.

Het mooiste vind ik nog dat er nu al meer variatie qua genres is, toch een beetje het grootste puntje van kritiek dat ik had vorig jaar.
Toen stond er toch vooral heel veel thrash (vrijwel gehele zaterdag) en death metal (groot deel van zondag), plus een verdwaalde band als Gutalax.
