Ik doe ook mee. Mijn lijst met 100 bands gevonden die ik er in wil. Nu ze in volgorde krijgen en hun beste nummers kiezen... . Ik zal wel wat redelijk punk er in hebben. maar het mocht hé !

Helemaal met je eens, ook een goed voorbeeld van een nummer wat ik altijd in de context van het album luister. Trouwens terwijl ik de lijst opstelde moest ik best vaak denken dat jij het ook zou kunnen waarderen, zoals bijv. Unanimated - Life Demise.

Wat een verschrikkelijk iets is dit. Ik ben hier veel te selectief in… Allereerst alle artiesten uitgeschreven die überhaupt kans maken. Dat bleken er 437 te zijn. Ben nu bezig om bij iedere artiest het beste nummer uit te kiezen (en anders een iets harder nummer van een artiest) en dan maar gaan schrappen naar honderd. Maar ga sowieso afwijken met de definiëring van de lijst qua hardere genres, want ben het daar niet volledig mee eens

Dat is dus ook de uitdaging Dave. 100 hardste nummers bijeen rapen kan iedereen toch? Ik zit al met hetzelfde probleem. Wie , hoe wat en waar. Ik zie het als een uitdaging om mijn allerbeste en leukste harde lijst samen te stellen🤘

Damn, wát een lijst!! Ik ken lang niet alles, maar wat ik wel ken dat vind ik over het algemeen echt geweldig. Dus dit worden de komende weken een hoop luisterbeurten. Heel erg bedankt! Ik waardeer dit echt enorm.

Dat is dus ook de uitdaging Dave. 100 hardste nummers bijeen rapen kan iedereen toch? Ik zit al met hetzelfde probleem. Wie , hoe wat en waar. Ik zie het als een uitdaging om mijn allerbeste en leukste harde lijst samen te stellen🤘

Warning was ver voor 40 Watt Sun, dateert zelfs al van 1994. Na de tweede keer dat hij stopte met Warning, in 2009, heeft hij 40 Watt Sun opgericht.

Dat laatste heb ik inderdaad ook, ja! Ik zit wel goed in het genre, zoals je weet, maar gek genoeg zou ik dus niet zomaar nummers op kunnen noemen die ik echt gelijk bovenaan zo'n lijst zou zetten.

Mijn truc is: ik weet voor mezelf wel welke bands er in mijn lijst moeten. Feitelijk zoek ik dan het nummer wat mij het eerste te binnen schiet. Voorbeeld: Motley Crue; kickstart my Heart. Toch niet, want Shout at the Devil komt het eerst in mij hoofd binnen. Als ik het niet op die wijze die, dan kom ik er nooit uit. Dus voor mij geldt; eerst bands en dan de nummers als eerste ingeving. Succes!!

Door de motiverende woorden van @Jamel toch een top 100 gemaakt. Ook ik volg de trend om van elke artiest maar 1 nummer te kiezen. Alle nummers hebben willekeurig een plek gekregen. Ik maak graag avondwandelingen door natuurgebieden en op die momenten worden bepaalde nummers gewoonweg betoverend goed, met dat in het achterhoofd heb ik 75% van de lijst opgesteld om toch wat richting te geven aan de keuzes. Warning - Footprints is in ieder geval een parel van een ontdekking uit jouw lijst @Jamel , dus die ga ik zo onderweg maar weer opzetten.

Volgens mij heb jij sowieso de "hardste" lijst 🤣 Motörhead, Alice in Chains en Trypticon. Dat zijn mijn meest bekende namen. En dan een hele lijst met death en grind geloof ik. Chapeau voor deze lijst.🥰
Hoeven van mij volgend jaar allemaal niet op Graspop te staan.🤣

40 Watt Sun heb ik wel van gehoord, maar nog nooit geluisterd. Ik hou ook van rustige muziek zoals Low en Red House Painters, dus dit zou zomaar een honeyhole kunnen zijn inderdaad, ben benieuwd! Eerst rustig Warning op mij in laten werken, echt een album voor de decembermaanden.

Wat een verschrikkelijk iets is dit. Ik ben hier veel te selectief in… Allereerst alle artiesten uitgeschreven die überhaupt kans maken. Dat bleken er 437 te zijn. Ben nu bezig om bij iedere artiest het beste nummer uit te kiezen (en anders een iets harder nummer van een artiest) en dan maar gaan schrappen naar honderd. Maar ga sowieso afwijken met de definiëring van de lijst qua hardere genres, want ben het daar niet volledig mee eens

was echt supper leuk om te doen! dank u @Paddy voor het idee! Ik heb dus ook gewerkt volgens 1 nummer per artiest. Wa bij mij persoonlijk opvalt is jah dat ik echt wel breed ga in het gerne. Dat het getekend is door muziek die ik als pubermeisje heb leren kennen. Dus vandaar veel punk en nu metal. De muziek die je van thuisfrond mee krijgt. Ik heb ook wel wat kleine belgische bans toegevoegd. Omdat zij mijn eerste metal optredens waren in de buurt van waar ik woonde die toch zorgde dat je kriebel te pakken kreeg om naar live muziek te gaan.
