een glints live show met de beats van faisal denk ik dan zoals de naam zegt
geen idee want dunno of dat al live iets gedaan heeft, als het kan probeer ik het wel eens te checken
Als moshpit-band heb je minder te verliezen in een tent dan bands als English teachter of Sextile in open air. Dat bedoel ik (en ik heb ze nog niet allemaal bekeken).

en tot hiertoe heeft die nog nooit teleurgesteld met moshpitbands tho
Bwa , hangt af van wat je wil horen. Ikzelf ben van de Grunge/Nu-Metal periode en als je dan groepen zoals Heilung (lijkt Deense folkore muziek) , Hermanos Gutierrez(filmmuziek) en een volledig Pop-Zondag voorgeschoteld krijgt kan je weinig enthousiast zijn over de line-up.
Hier rijst natuurlijk het besef dat deze muziek best wel populair kan zijn bij de jongere garde.
Maar bon het zal de leeftijd wel zijn zeker. Ik ga me optrekken aan groepen als Gurriers,Grade 2 , Wisp,Joey Valance en Wunderhorse. De groepen waar ik echt naar uitkijk zijn natuurlijk Amyl en de Sniffers , Fountaines DC, Deftones, Linkin Park, Green Day en Weezer.

Nog 2 namen op de zaterdag te gaan (denken we), wat betekent dat het aantal kanshebbers drastisch beperkt wordt. Geen enkele naam kun je op dit moment 'Zeer waarschijnlijk' noemen en echt 'goede' mogelijkheden zijn er ook niet echt. Kortom, we tasten redelijk in het duister. Ik heb alle namen die de vorige keer nog 'Zeer waarschijnlijk' of een 'Goede mogelijkheid' waren even nagekeken en (waar nodig) verplaatst naar een andere categorie. Iedereen die op 5 juli ergens anders speelt is definitief afgevallen. Artiesten die rond die datum niet in de buurt zijn of überhaupt niet touren zijn nu hooguit een 'Verrassing'. Ik heb minder gekeken naar de vraag of een naam passend is op Main stage.

Wat is er mis met moshen in de buitenlucht? Juist met stevige muziek heb ik minder behoefte aan de beslotenheid van een tent.
Neil young blijft voor mij 1 van de beste werchter optredens ooit. Maar natuurlijk wel al ff geledenNeil Young al twee keer gezien en twee keer tegengevallen. Dus mijn jaloezie is nogal beperkt.
Enige naam die ik van Glasto mis op Werchter is Alanis Morisette en Turnstile. Eventueel iets voor de zaterdag?
Nee, totaal niet. GLINTSAL heeft vorig jaar een album gemaakt met daarop 8 nummers. Wellicht krijgen we dus die 8 nummers, eventueel nog aangevuld met een Glints solonummer. Maar het zal zeker geen Glints-show zijn.

Hmm , toch ook niet helemaal. Er zitten er maar enkele bij die me echt intresseren zoals : Iron Maiden , Korn , Krokus, Lagwagon , Flogging Molly, Alien Ant Farm, NIN, Nova Twins, Slipknot,EoDM en Ugly Kid Joe. Dus over al die dagen is het ook niet echt geweldig.
Wat niet wil zeggen dat ik me er niet zou amuseren , maar om er nu een combi voor te kopen...nah.
Vind de Glastonbury lineup inderdaad wat tegenvallen ten opzichte van andere jaren. Werchter doet het dus echt niet slecht. Ook als je bedenkt dat Werchter 4 podia te vullen heeft en Glastonbury veel meer (40, waarbij er ook veel hele kleine podia zijn) en daar ook bekende namen neerzet.
Wie ik dan graag op Werchter had willen zien was St. Vincent (al genoeg discussie over gehad over de promotor) Father John Misty en Anohni & the Johnsons.

Rock Werchter heeft een erg goede lineup, maar die van Glastonbury zet hem toch echt wel weer in de schaduw vind ik, zelfs in een zogenaamd 'minder' jaar. Bizar wat die allemaal op 3 (!) dagen weten te proppen. Maar goed: ook veel clashes daar dus. Ik vind Charli XCX, niet eens als headliner, heel vet. Maar dan mis je wel Neil Young. Of Doechii.
Kijken naar deze clashfinder doet me duizelen. Omdat er zoveel goede namen op een dag gepropt staan, maar ook omdat ze zoveel tegelijk spelen.
Maar goed, lineup van het jaar daar weer hoor, al is het ook gewoon niet eerlijk.
