Pukkelpop is heading for a sold-out edition. The line-up is being finalized, combi tickets are sold out, Camping Relax is sold out, Camping Chill is as good as sold out and the availability of all day tickets is now in the danger zone. Looking forward to the start of another Pukkelpop is also getting extra exciting thanks to these 5 new names.

FRIDAY, 18 AUGUST​

Exciting could also be a synonym for DJ Fresh, real name Daniel Stein a.k.a. the renowned British drum 'n bass producer and DJ. You know him from 'Hot Right Now', a huge world hit featuring Rita Ora. On Friday, you can also catch EMJIE, a Brussels-based DJ and producer inspired by art, design and other multicultural disciplines.

SATURDAY 19 AUGUST​

On Saturday, there will be some steamy dancing thanks to Pongo. You probably recognise singer Engracia Domingos da Silva's voice from Buraka Som Sistema's monster hit Kalemba (Wegue Wegue). The Angolan kuduro star expects you on the dance floor without further ado.

IMMERSIVE INSTALLATION AT THE BOOTH​

Festivalgoers with a combi or Friday ticket can head to KRANKk on Thursday; the remarkable collective of producers and musicians consisting of Thomas Geysen on drums, Aram Abgaryan on keys and Willem Heylen on guitar. They have spent a year working on their new Pukkelpop performance. New because last year the KRANKk trio also played at the Booth. On Thursday 17 August, they will be there again taking it a step further with a mix of electronic dance & drum 'n bass specially designed for immersive installations. Their energetic set literally and figuratively goes in all directions with sounds that completely plunge you in an immersive total experience of light and sound.

Together with KRANKk also $hirak, one of the most popular producers in the Netherlands, gets a nice spot on the Thursday bill. In addition to his work for Lil Kleine, Broederliefde and Boef & Ronnie Flex, he also likes to push the buttons for himself.

Ik had gehoopt op die naam om mij al dan niet te overtuigen om donderdag ook te gaan. Zal dan een last-minute beslissing worden, maar ik ben bang dat de camping dan ondertussen uitverkocht gaat zijn...
