Rock Werchter 2027

[phil]

Back down South niet vergeten.

[Tinus101]

Because of the Times is echt een bizar goede plaat!

[BlackwaterPark]

Back down South niet vergeten.

The Bandit

[Joss]

Staan in beide lijstjes. En nee, heb niet alles gecheckt.

Gecorrigeerd.

When You See Yourself is anders ook niet slecht hoor.

[Everyknight]

Back down South niet vergeten.

Black Thumb all the way!

The festival jitters are starting to build, now that one festival after another has begun making announcements. The biggest contenders are coming from Denmark, while elsewhere, the hopes or fears regarding certain headliners can be buried. Chance (virtually) nil:
Alex Warren, Coldplay, Dean Lewis, Fontaines DC, Greta van Fleet ↓, Hayley Williams, Jorja Smith, Little Simz, Lizzy McAlpine ↓, Miley Cyrus, Oasis, Portugal. The Man ↓, Raye ↓, Richard Ashcroft, Robbie Williams ↓, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Slipknot ↓

I would check past schedules maybe before presuming one of those early bolds in nil chance. U2 aren't happening and The Smashing Pumpkins is definitely unlikely section. Shikari more so Graspop

Mlre Too bad, because it would still draw a lot of people to the main stage since it's been so long. A typical Werchter band in that respect. Especially as the penultimate great spot with all their hits.

But of course, they aren't the ticket pushers you'd expect from an absolute headliner anymore, and in that light, they would be just another one of those bands that barely draws a crowd at Live is Live but costs a lot of money. I don't really see them playing in Belgium then. Unless they enjoy tearing their pants at Skorpio, of course.

If Tame Impala are the big sell the festival believe they are for the Sunday then KOL subbing won't be an issue. The other Belgium festival is another week on from that and pretty unlikely a couple of other countries that period are going to book them for it to be worth it sticking around, they didn't around Mad Cool when they had a 4 day gap. The festival already had someone who wasn't going to sell for them anyway so KOL was not their best choice but they have as AFAS act now.

Als daar live verder geen showelementen omheen zitten so be it. Vind de muziek zelf toch veel belangrijker
