Als ik even duik in wat verhalen, dan touren ze momenteel met hun grootste productie ooit en zijn de verhalen erg enthousiast
I was fortunate enough to catch The Offspring in Cardiff last week. They are one of my all time favourite bands, but as you say, they seem to be getting better with age. I thought they were superb at last year's Download Festival, and the Cardiff gig was possibly the best of theirs that I have seen (I have seen them at about half a dozen of their own shows).Something that you didn't mention was the build-up to their set. From the moment that Simple Plan (who were very good) left the stage, the screens were being used to entertain the crowd with videos and interraction, and the blimp was flying around. A fantasic night, with a great setlist and even better performance!

A moment of honesty. When I saw the band back in 1997/98 or whenever it was, at the Manchester Apollo, I actually remember leaving feeling a little let down. They played the songs, but that was it. I mean, they were OK, but the show was missing something. Tonight more than made up for that. This, I feel, is what the band probably always wanted to do – but now they have the backing to do it. This was a lesson in how to put on an arena show and I didn’t see a single person leaving who wasn’t smiling as much as I was
