Ik weet niet zo goed in welk topic ik het moet plaatsen, maar ik ben op zoek naar tips naar nieuwe artiesten die ik nog niet ken in twee genres.
Artiesten waar jullie van zeggen, als je onderstaande artiesten leuk vind moet je dit ook echt luisteren.

Genre 1: Post-punk / Jazzy achtige saxofoon rock; denk aan DEADLETTER, BCNR, Otala, Maruja, Racing Mount Pleasant, Opus Kink, The Orchestra (For now).

Laatstgenoemde is soms een beetje te copy paste van BC,NR, maar heeft ook zeker zijn momenten.

Draken - Here Be Draken (hard rock, progressive, psychedelic, metal - 17/04/2026)

Draken is a hard-hitting trio from Oslo, Norway. Musically, they are somewhere between heavy rock and metal. Formed in 2019 by Even Hermansen (guitars/vocals - Bushman’s Revenge), Hallvard Gaardløs (bass/vocals - Spidergawd), and André Drage (drums), the band delivers uncompromising rock rooted in the legacy of High on Fire, Motörhead, and Entombed.

With down-tuned guitars, massive riffs, and a wall of sound, Draken aims to channel the raw and natural essence of rock music – through powerful songs, tight musicianship, and sheer sonic force. Their self-titled debut album dropped in 2021, followed by the critically acclaimed Book of Black, both released on Swedish label Majestic Mountain Records. In 2026, the band will release their third album, Here Be Draken, on Bergen-based Dark Essence Records –recorded at Amper Tone and produced by the band together with engineer Kim Lillestøl.

Na een update van Paul Seidel (ex-drummer The Ocean) op substack blijkt dat hij o.a. werkt een tweede solo-album als FERN, mij tot op heden onbekend of verdreven ergens ver weg in een bovenste achterkamer
Daarom nu op ontdekking via het debuut FERN album bandcamp, Intersubjective uit 2022.

OH HIROSHIMA - Meridian (Official Music Video)

At the heart of a restless momentum, and through a patient approach to dynamics, Oh Hiroshima uses an explosive and unrelenting backdrop to interweave rhythm and melody in this journey of tension and release.
