Waarschijnlijk is het hier al wel gepasseerd, daarvoor volg ik het forum niet genoeg op de voet. Maar als ik het goed begrijp dan zou het kunnen dat er voor Mumfors & Sons op Main nog een sub aangekondigd wordt? Verder lijken alle 'grote' namen, en al zeker voor Mainstage, aangekondigd? Zijn dit dan de opties?
- The Prodigy (vaak genoemd als Barn-head, maar kan evengoed op Main?)
- The Lumineers (staan op andere festivals als head of sub, dus waarom niet op RW?)
- The War On Drugs (of gaan we die morgen kunnen schrappen door TW?)
- Editors (ditto TWOD)
- Kings Of Leon (ditto TWOD)
- Lorde (of konden we die definitief schrappen?)
- Little Simz (of is die in België niet groot genoeg om als sub te staan?)
- zijn er nog opties?

Kan iemand me even meenemen?

Helaas zal de kans op Byrne op zondag wel héél klein zijn, tenzij zowel Kalkbrenner als APC genoegen nemen met iets anders dan Barnhead

Kalkbrenner kan de Klub afsluiten. Zo kan hij een stuk langer doorgaan dan de Barnhead terwijl The Cure aan het spelen is, als alternatief voor The Cure. A Perfect Circle lijken me wel vrede te kunnen nemen met een derde laatste plek op de mainstage of voorlaatste in de Barn. En in een ander scenario denk ik dat Byrne er ook geen probleem mee zou hebben om als voorlaatste in de Barn te spelen. Denk niet dat dat een moeilijke mens is. Op Mad Cool sluit hij ook geen podium af.

Ja precies. Die dag rechttrekken is nu mijn grootste focus.

Vrijdag komt wel in orde. Sowieso daar al een dikke headliner die ik niet wil missen.

It's probably already been mentioned here, as I don't follow the forum closely enough for that. But if I understand correctly, it's possible that a sub will be announced for Mumfors & Sons on Main. Furthermore, it seems all the "big" names, especially for Mainstage, have been announced. Are these the options then?
- The Prodigy (often referred to as Barn-head, but could just as easily be on Main?)
- The Lumineers (they headline or sub at other festivals, so why not at RW?)
- The War On Drugs (or will we be able to cancel that tomorrow because of TW?)
- Editors (ditto TWOD)
- Kings Of Leon (ditto TWOD)
- Lorde (or could we scrap that one altogether?)
- Little Simz (or is it not big enough in Belgium to be a sub?)

Of course Lorde I guess could have pulled out but I’d wait till the next lineup to see if more are announced.

Van beide nog geen shows bekend in het RW weekend. Van VW überhaupt geen shows. Vingers all the way gekruist. Of ik van Lumineers en Kasabian blij word…

No shows announced for either of them during the RW weekend. No shows at all for VW. Fingers crossed. Whether Lumineers and Kasabian will make me happy...

Thx voor de reacties. Persoonlijk zou de voorkeur naar TWOD gaan. Dat zou een kersenboom op 'ne serieuze gateaux' zijn.
Lorde zou ik goed snappen, die staat daar ook wel op z'n plaats zo lijkt...

Zoveel acts die aangeven evt te touren, die dan geboekt worden en zich later terug trekken voor er nog maar een aankondiging kon zijn.

So many acts indicate they might tour, get booked, and then pull out before an announcement can even be made.

Oh of course, I don’t doubt that at all. However we know the Thursday leak was great info so no need to think it might not happen yet, especially when there’s other festivals to announce. Shall wait until at least the 2nd package before I lose hope

BBK announced the start of December last year, my hope is now VW are on it and then in the 2nd package (I’m ever the optimist)

Een Rosalia-aankondiging. Op de avond van het Vorst-concert.

Lewis Capaldi ingeluisterd met een live set. Kijk, er is elk jaar zeker èèn grote act die ik met een vurige passie haat. Zo een ding waar ik mijlen ver van uit de buurt blijf. Capaldi is NIET die act.

Het is niet mijn muziek, en ik snap niet heel goed hoe die gast op die top spots is beland, maar dat doet Lewis zelf ook niet echt denk ik. Het is makkelijk in het oor liggende muzikale meligheid die gaat werken als er een zomerzon is en een beker bier in mijn handen.

Maar doe toch maar David Byrne in de Barn op dat moment.

Een Rosalia-aankondiging. Op de avond van het Vorst-concert.

Lorde speelt op zaterdag 22 augustus op All Points East festival in de uk als headliner. Dat geeft ruimte voor evt een concert vrijdag in Lowlands of zondag PKP of andersom. Verder is ze nog op geen ander Nederlands festival aangekondigd (BKS, DTRH,..) zodat Lowlands/PKP logisch lijkt. Begin september haalt ze een concert in Luxemburg in dus dan speelt ze wellicht nog Rock en Seine en/of Reading /Leads festival. Ze speelt bijna altijd als headliner wat ze op RW niet kan krijgen met de huidige aangekondigde line-up.
Kansen zijn kleiner voor Lorde op RW dan Lorde op PKP. Lokerse Feesten zal niet gaan want dan is ze wellicht nog in de Verenigde Staten aan het touren.

Good shout! Hebben ze wel nog wat nodig bovenaan en ging dat niet eens een niet-typische headliner zijn qua genre voor TW Classic in 2026? Anyway, ander topic
