Normaal 20.500 dagtickets en 67.500 combitickets, maar er is wat geschoven waardoor er meer dagtickets beschikbaar waren.
Verkoop was uiteindelijk niet dramatisch lijkt me op zaterdag.
Maar het moet ook passen. Festivals zijn nog voor de editie van 2025 al bezig met de headliners voor 2026 te boeken. Is er dus uberhaupt plaats voor KoL?
En blijft ook de vraag of KoL nog terugkeren om een handvol data in te halen.
Blijft inderdaad allemaal ; 'het is de vraag of ' / wat als / als.... dan/enzovoorts.
Maar er zit altijd wel iets bij aan de bovenkant van het affiche wat geen vracht publiek trekt, maar zeker op werchter past.

Er zaten 3.000 zaterdag tickets tussen die via een serieuze korting aan CERA Aandeelhouders werden verkocht iets wat voordien mi nog nooit gebeurd was bij Rock Werchter.Laten we zeggen dat dat een eufemistisch cijfer geweest zal zijn.

1. Franz Ferdinand? - were supposed to play 2025 - plans changed - Tour ends in Europe in April?
2. Blink 182? - I guess could take a break after their USA tour and hit Europe and festivals? - Supposed to be working on a new album this summer , could be released by next summer?

Ja, voor Franz Ferdinand is België één van de weinige landen die ze afgelopen zomer niet aangedaan hebben. Ook Bloc Party hebben we hier niet gezien op een festival. Stereophonics ook niet.
I have close ties to Bloc Party and can confirm as of today, nothing planned. (Just like last year when I confirmed they were not playing)
1 band who are always around, I really like them and have never seen them.

Aha toch een week voor de gelekte datum! Benieuwd of ze ook festivals gaan aandoen daarna. En ze mogen Sparks ineens meenemen dan.

Songs like ‘The Happy Dictator’ (featuring experimental art-pop duo Sparks), the first single to be released from the album, are very much “staring the beast in the face,” Albarn says. The track “touches that sweet spot between making something that’s fun and also got some social, political clout to it,” he explains. “I’ve always loved it if you can get that kind of song up to a big festival field singing it. It feels quite powerful.”
