I'm not missing the point, I responded to someone talking about LsL festival initially. I just said that 2020 and 2021 are not apt comparisons because this festival was not happening. 2022 and 2023 they were on the RW bill.

Of course not, I'm saying if they are offered both and take the other and tell RW no, they may not get the call in the future. So it doesn't, in my opionion, change the likelihood of this festival.

Difficult years to cite, since Werchter was cancelled in those years. Qotsa played 2018, had to cancel 2022 because of Josh's divorce, and played 2023. American bands frankly love to play Werchter, if they damage an existing relationship with the festival, they would not be happy.
