    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

Even though I was critical of the headline announcements, it’s just a combi ticket for me now. Plenty of small highlights on the other stages and a few favourites on the main stages as well. I’m sold. Again. Good job Graspop and sorry for ever doubting you.

I’m surprised by the absence of Steel Panther and Phil Anselmo‘s side projects. Do you think they’ll be announced later?

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

Well, that’s exactly the case now. Incredible Jupiler Stage on Friday and Sunday. Very impressed with the undercard in general.

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

What festivals? There’s only been a leak so far, at least as far as I’m aware.

Just checked Deftones tour dates. Their Dortmund show isn’t sold out yet. Would that be a reason for announcing them later on? I hope this Download announcement will clue us in on Ghosts and Deftones availability. Those are the only two semi-realistic names I can really think of for that...

Megadeth isn’t a Ziggo name, is it? Or are you referring to the unannounced headliner?

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

Does one of the insiders know if we can expect the undercard today? If not, should be Wednesday at the latest, right?

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

Rock Am Ring appears to be dropping their full line-up on 01.11. at midnight. That’s what the teasers indicate at least.

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

A Deftones/Limp Bizkit co-headline would be pretty cool, I think. A big nu metal party.

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

That’s a fair argument, I can live with that. Who knows, maybe in a week I’ll be happy about the great stuff playing on the Jupiler and the lack of clashes with the main stages. Let’s stay positive.

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

There’s too many bands to list that could still surprise me in a positive way. I’m not really worried about the undercard not satisfying me. What separates Graspop from smaller festivals that also have good smaller names is the selection of headliners though. That, and the premium you pay for...

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

Yes, those 3 bands out of 14 are indeed the ones that I find most interesting, even though TS isn’t really my cup of tea for example. I don’t consider the booking of those to be boring.

When did I ever mention Sepultura of all bands?

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

I disagree. For an annual festival uniqueness is a positive quality in a lineup as it makes the experience fresh, interesting and keeps things from getting boring. Thus, the lack of unique bookings does indeed lessen a line ups quality.

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

Okay but if most of the headliners are constantly touring everywhere and evidently so - is this not valid and objective criticism of the line ups quality and lack of unique bands? That’s not the inability to separate ones own taste from the objective strengths and weaknesses, it’s just an...

Obviously, you haven’t watched his comeback shows. The quality is back, now that he’s sober.

    Graspop Metal Meeting 2026

True but also, it’s not just that. I could think of many headliners that would excite me. There are many interesting bands that are touring during June and July, that all weren’t booked (as far as we know). Sure, some have conflicting schedules now but still, it’s unfortunate: Linkin Park...
